BMW N46 crank sensor replacement 320i E90

Another common issue on the E90 320i N46 engined BMW 3 series. To be fair, its a common issue on many cars - the crank sensor! This one was pretty easy to diagnose as had the classic symptoms of a failing crank sensor plus the DTC P0335 was a bit of a giveaway! The problem was the crank sensor on a lot of BMWs is not at all accessible, on some engines you can access from the bottom which was my hope but I couldn&get to it.
