Adaptive Cruise Control radars sometimes require calibration. After refitting the bumper, changing wheel alignment, replacing suspension, or after collision system should be recalibrated to work properly. If front facing radars are not set properly, you can get error message like "ACC and audi braking guard: unavailable" (also Front Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Assist) and a C1103 fault code in module 0x13 and/or 0x8B. Dealer will charge you $500 or more to readjust the radar but luckily you can do it yourself without specialized tools. This video tutorial will guide you though the process of enabling back ACC in Audi S6 C7. ℹ️ In this car the front bumper was removed for engine service. After refitting it ACC was not available and there was a B2005 fault code ("data record invalid") which means that the radar was disconnected for too long and it&required to perform parametrization so the radar "knows" that it&installed in this specific type of bumper. You can do it with VCP and you need to select what kind of bumper you have (standard, S-Line, S, RS). ℹ️ System started to work, but after few kilometers there was a fault code present in module 0x13. C1108 F0 - Adaptive cruise control sensor - Restricted View. At closer look the radar itself was not fitted properly and was wiggling up and down facing the bumper. After pushing it back in place and clearing the fault, ACC was working again. ℹ️ Few hundred kilometers and another fault code appeared in module 0x13. This...
