The richness, the armonics, the sustain, the vibrations.... 2) You must have one if you want to nail the sound of some iconic rock and roll songs 3) It helps develop your tuning capabilities. Listen at it and find the out of tune strings without a tuner. 4) It helps develop strenght in your fretting hand. Double strings = doulbe force needed (it¬ exactly true but you get the point) 5) It helps develop precision in your fretting hand. You have less space between strings so you have to be very accurate to avoid unwanted strings muting. 6) It&wonderful to strum over 12 strings.
