Encanto - Dolores and Mariano are getting MARRIED and they have a beautiful wedding in Casita with all of the Madrigal family and the Guzmáns! Camilo, Pepa, Abuela, Antonio - everybody celebrates Mariano and Dolores ❤️ Hi^___^ How are you? This is hands down the most requested Disney art edit this year! Dolores and Mariano from Encanto getting married ❤️ I did a bit of research and Encanto theory first. The Encanto full movie takes place in Colombia, so it is a catholic wedding. It turns out that the current Disney Encanto story takes place only 60-80 years ago, so things like electric lights, modern wedding dresses etc. are definitely possible as the Encanto valley has opened up to the rest of the world again^^ So I played around with modern dress styles and decorating casita with fairy lights :) Dolores&dress silhouette is inspired by an wedding dress by a Colombian designer and the lace is inspired by flowers from Encanto, like orchids and dahlias. Mariano, on the other hand, is wearing his usual outfit - because get this! - according to the Art of Encanto book, Mariano is wearing a "Guayabera", which is actually a traditional outfit in Colombia - often worn by a groom at his wedding! This Encanto edit of course takes place after the We Dont Talk About Bruno song and before Dolores and Mariano have five babies. I can&imagine Abuela Alma would allow them to have kids without getting married lol. And now, with her miracle powers, Mirabel can help prepare for a big Family...
