In this video Jeremy Honnold is going to walk you through how to set up the LX-101 color sensor so that it will send an output signal when it detects the blue colored fuel injector and ignore all other colors The Panasonic LX-101 has 6 Mode Selections: 1. RUN mode 2. Tech mode 3. Sensitivity adjustment mode (tweaking) 4. Color or Mark mode 5. Time Delay set-up 6. Pro mode (which we will cover in another video) The blue button is for the mode selection On and Off button also used for selecting the options within the various modes. I am going to press and release the mode selection button until the LED next to color is displayed Auto = Mark mode typically used for registration mark detection Color = Full RGB color sensing mode I am going to select CLor Press and release the mode button until TEACH mode is selected. Next I am going to place the part that I want to sense within the field of view of the sensor and press and release the ON button If the setting is accepted the sensor will display good and notice that the output light turns on. The sensor will go back into the RUN mode The display shows a number value that is proportional to the shade of the color that was taught. High number = similar color to what was taught LOW number = dissimilar color to what was taught We will cover all the other features of this series in upcoming videos so please be sure to like this video and subscribe to our channel.
