Hunter PGP Sprinkler Head & Solenoid Repair I had one sprinkler head that was broken and two that were too low to spray correctly. Over time, the sprinklers will settle down too low and you will need to raise them by adding risers. The first two went very well, but I caused a solenoid failure on the last one. This video shows what I did for a solution. A check valve was needed after replacing the solenoid. I did change out the diaphragm for that zone while installing a new solenoid. Things are working correctly now. It was a frustrating week trying to understand the cause and finding a fix.
