Fan video clip (including subtitles!) of Turisas&epic "To Holmgard and Beyond", the opening song to their excellent second album, "The Varangian Way". Btw, this is my 2nd attempt in video editing: the footage includes clips from the movies "The Vikings" (1958), "Stara Basn" (2003), "Arn" (2007) and BBC&documentary "Blood of the Vikings" (2000). Enjoy, comment and thanks for the 100k views! :) ___________________________________________ A note for all Scandinavian & Finnish viewers: The diacritics on the vowels shown on the subtitles&text (quasi umlaut) are actually a feature of the typeface ("Readable Gothic") I used for the captions. I guess it was all about how ..."cool" it supposedly looks/feels (see e.g. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_umlaut). It goes without saying that NO actual purpose is served, pronunciation-wise.
