I just recently rewired my 2013 Les Paul 60s Tribute, replacing the stock Burstbuckers for Gibson P94 humbucker sized p90s. The electronics came from The Art of Tone(cost less than the Stewmac kit, and it&all the same stuff), and are set up for modern wiring. The sound is pretty much exactly what I was looking for; I can roll back the tone to get the fat humbucker sounds I need, but these pickups also give me the single-coil sounds I want. They also fit in much better with my band, since the other guitarist uses humbuckers. I&had to turn the gain up a little higher to get the same amount of drive I had with humbuckers, but the overall sound is much more pleasing to my ears. The only issue I&had is the inherent single-coil hum, which is particularly bad with my fuzz pedal engaged. Well worth the sound, though. Audio was recorded with a Tascam DR-05 set to high quality .WAV format.
