Visualisation of radar data from Qamcom’s 77 GHz obstacle detection radar

Qamcom’s short range radar is a 77 GHz solid-state 4D radar providing instantaneous measurements on range, doppler (speed), azimuth and elevation angle. The radar can detect and track up to 50 objects simultaneously and can handle tracking of stationary and slow moving targets as well as targets on similar distances or in the air. The demo video visualises the radar data given a specified detection zone. Detection of objects, or specifically the confirmation of a track, is marked with coloured dots. The lighter the dots (white and yellow) the stronger the detected signal.
