phantom 3 standard camera gimbal problem

One day, I crashed my Phantom 3 Standard. When i turned it on again, it was ok. The gimbal, however, went a little skewed so i did a gimbal calibration. The Phantom went well afterwards except that, at times, it experienced some compass error. All I did was move to a different place, did the compass calibration and everything went fine. The following day, however, my phantom went crazy and it behaved like as shown on video. I did a factory reset but the problem went on. The camera seems to be working fine as seen on the app, it was doing well. It&the gimbal thas has a problem... I guess. As a newbie, I need your advise regarding this problem. What should I do first to troubleshoot this problem? Can I do an IMU calibration although the gimbal is behaving in this manner? By the way, the Go App says there is a gimbal motor overload. It was suggesting that I remove the plastic holder that keeps the gimbal steady when it is not used but as you see, that plastic cover is not there. Is it wise to replace the ribbon cable or are there other preliminary steps i need to do first?
