Subscribe to learn the ways! Solitary Man was recorded in the 90&by Johnny Cash. This is technically a Neil Diamond song, but I was introduced to it from the Johnny Cash Version. This fingerstyle version was modeled from the Johnny Cash version I heard growing up. This fingerstyle version that I made is an octave above the way Niel Diamond would sing it, and 2 octaves above the register that Johnny Cash would sing it.....so whatever I guess. Anyway, I&really proud of this solo acoustic fingerstyle arrangement and I hope you enjoy it. It&played on my acoustic Taylor. Here&the lyrics. Melinda was mine &the time That I found her Holding Jim And loving him Then Sue came along, loved me strong That&what I thought Ya, me and Sue But that died too Don&know that I will But until I can find me The girl who&stay And won&play games behind me I&be what I am A solitary man Solitary man I&had it to here Bein&where love&a small word Part-time thing Paper ring I know it&been done Havin&one girl who&loves you Right or wrong Weak or strong Don&know that I will But until I can find me The girl who&stay And won&play games behind me I&be what I am A solitary man Solitary man Don&know that I will But until I can find me The girl who&stay And won&play games behind me I&be what I am A solitary man Solitary man Solitary man Solitary man
