VOLVO HACK for new 12V BATTERY - BMS reset ONLY for NEW main battery! (age reset without VIDA)

ONLY for brand new main 12V battery! Battery icon blinks only in MY2014+ cars. (different trick for LOW BATTERY warning: youtu.be/uH9TmL5mHOs) NEVER do this hack after recharging old battery! If used on older battery, it will be overcharged. This trick doesn&work in new platform SPA/CMA Volvo cars. When to use this hack? Only after installing new 12V main battery in Volvo Platform 3 with BMS, approximately 2010-17. IMPORTANT: before removing old battery and istalling new 12V battery turn off the ignition, remove the key and wait at least 15 minutes. Replace 12V battery, then in VIDA reset the battery age counter (BMS - battery monitoring sensor). Without VIDA just do this hack: 1. Turn ignition ON position II (press and hold START for over 5 seconds without touching any pedals, until ALL icons light up on tachometer), but don&start engine. 2. Turn ON front lights (not in Auto!) 3. Rear foglight - press 6x times 4. Hazard lights (red triangle) - press 3x times battery icon blinks 3 times in MY2014-, but you get NO visual confirmation in pre-MY2014 5. Turn ignition off and ON again - battery icon blinks 3x in some other cars 6. Turn off hazard lights You can normally drive the vehicle after this trick Battery icon blinks only in MY2014+ cars!
