You're My Little Choochy Face: American & Russian Political Dance

This old song reminds me of the current relations between the U.S. & Russia. Russia pretends that Trump is genuinely interested in peace and trying to make things work out. In reality, of course, while Trump is saying Europe is paying for the war in Ukraine, it is the U.S. that funds NATO, which then buys the weapons. With the drone attempt on President Putin&residence, the song here becomes just as sinister. But the news agencies on both sides started up the "choochy woochy face" routine again. Has anyone forgotten America&duplicity with Iran? Peace negotiations were in place while bombing runs were set up and executed. And like the king in the story, Trump seems to be like the king here and lamenting that long-range missiles weren&sent, in a sort of Freudian slip, although in fact, he said, "Good we didn&send &to Ukraine."I&often written about the crusade mentality of the West, the black and white, and the trail of disaster wherever the West goes, not least of all to their own citizens who have long lost hope that voting can change anything.How long will the Choochy Face routine last?
