Yngwie Malmsteen Overdrive by Fender (pedal review/demo) This video is a review / demo of the Fender Yngwie Malmsteen overdrived pedal. I suppose everyone knows who Yngwie is, a guitarist who was part of creating what became called "neoclassic metal" and he has had a huge influence on guitar players all over the world. So... this is his signature overdrive pedal! Now I say it in the video and I&repeat it here; don&expect me playing anything like Yngwie in this video! I¬ that kind of guitarist and frankly I don&wanna be (said without bashing the man himself in any way!). As for the pedal it-self - it has true bypass, metal casing, can be run with a 9-volt-battery or external power supply. It has only two controls - volume and gain. I know some people consider this the best overdrive out there, everyones taste is different! Me, I like it, but it is not my favourite overdrive pedal.
