Marantz PM KI Pearl Lite Amplifier Repair

Fault Amplifier in protection mode, power LED flashing Red. The KI Pearl Lite incorporates a start up circuit for the main power transformer controlled via the microprocessor. When the power button was turned on the Transfomer relay energised for a few seconds then switched off. The start up circuit is located on the small board at the rear of the Amplifier on the left side. Protection fuse F8520 T3.15 Amp was checked with a multimeter set to continuity and found to be open circuit. Visual inspection of the fuse looked like it was okay. Replacing the fuse restored the Amplifier to normal operation.
