The beauty of having a 10 bit ProRes 422 file is the flexibility in color grading during post. You can push your shadows or even recover highlights but nailing your exposure down is always key to a very nice image. I do tons of projects with a short turnaround time, so ProRes works wonders for what I do. ProRes is an excellent balance between image quality and editing efficiency. This is not a grading tutorial, just showing my grading method in Resolve. Don&forget to use the Z Cams ZColor Plug-in, this makes your color correction for Zlog2 so much easier!
