Cars The Video Game PC - Wingo Gameplay

Wingo was a unique character to play as mainly because of that ridiculously high spoiler. His acceleration is not as good as the other cars. For some reason, he is a playable character; but DJ, Boost, and Snot Rod are not. I do not understand this! My biggest issue with this game is that there are so many unplayable characters. I am busy getting so many points in races that I can&even use them to unlock more cars. I can only use them for a bunch of wacky paint jobs. It would totally add to the game if I were allowed to play as more characters. It was my main motivation for getting the Hi-octane mod for Mater-National which suffers the same problem.
