This video will teach you the basics of the Simufact welding GUI and how to simulate the process of the brazing process. In this part, we define the material properties, import the geometry, assembly, mesh, loading, and boundary conditions and we keep the rest for part two. To have a better understanding of each part you could have the following details. The material library includes all important mechanical, thermal and electrical properties which you could use. Simufact welding has an extensive material library available for modelling purposes. In case you need a special material type or a customized input you could use the fully integrated graphical support to define it. Clamps are assumed as the boundary conditions of the welding simulation. From the start to the end of a simulation at least one boundary condition should remain active. They represent the constraints on which movement is locked in specific directions. They can be either defined when starting a new process or added later to the process tree. Robots are objects that will perform to model the welding process. They are four kinds of objects that are categorized as temperature, material, trajectory and welding parameter. The weld beads for the robot can be generated or assigned from imported meshes. The temperature and the material have already been defined for the robot, so the next steps are to define the trajectory and welding parameters. The video is short which is less than 10 minutes so you can...
