The project moves between music, image, video and animation, blending languages, rhythms, and atmospheres into a single universe. All lyrics, melodies, musical direction, artistic direction, and visual identity are conceived and guided by human intention. Each track is the result of deliberate artistic choices, made layer by layer, instrument by instrument, with a clear vision of structure, texture, rhythm, and mood. Água Bruta is built using multiple tools. Artificial intelligence is one of them, not as an automatic solution, but as part of a broader creative workflow. The voices are personas, and both voices and instruments were generated using AI-based tools. These elements were then carefully arranged, edited, processed, and mixed using traditional music production software, alongside effects, samples, ambient sounds, and transitions designed to give the album a cohesive and continuous flow. In the visual realm, AI-assisted processes also coexist with manual composition, animation, and graphic design decisions. Musically, the project draws from early Afro-Brazilian and samba-related traditions such as jongo and afoxé, while dialoguing with bossa nova, indie and pop song structures, lo-fi aesthetics, psychedelic textures, and Caribbean guitar influences.
