[Longplay, No Commentary] Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe (PC, 1999) Full Play-through

Hidden & Dangerous is a tactical first/third-person shooter game released in 1999 for Windows. You will be controlling a squad of up to four British Special Air Service (SAS) commandos executing various operations behind enemy lines to aid the Allied war effort during the Second World War. To set things straight right off the bat, I¬ even going to pretend I&any good in this game so you will see deaths and save-scumming every now and then. This game can be played run-and-gun style and lone wolf for the most part if you are really good. Even better, sacrifice some soldiers to complete the mission much quicker and easier. I&showcasing the "proper" and hard way most of the time, of course. I have complained about the poor AI and bugs in Hidden & Dangerous 2, but this predecessor easily takes the cake. You will frequently encounter invisible hit walls and fight for control when switching between members in this bugfest of a game. Another huge problem is the lack of stats progression in your members, while enemies get more laser precision aim at later missions. Speaking of squad members, most of the time, they can be relied upon when operating mounted guns, and shooting your back. I won&say it is a terrible game as it does have some decent moments, especially if you were to play it during the time it was released. After all, it is probably the forefather of squad-based tactical shooting games that we know and probably love today, it just lacked the polish to make it a great...
