"Fix" MMCS Incorrect Date & Time Display - Mitsubishi

Users of Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) encounter an issue whereby when the vehicle is turned off, MMCS date and time is reset to some time in 2004 or 2005. This issue began in October 2023. Until there is a fix from Mitsubishi, I have resorted to this method. GPS/Navigation will no longer work with this method. Affects Mitsubishi Lancer, Outlander, Galant, ASX, Proton Inspira and any cars with MMCS J01, J02, J03, J04, etc.
