Yamaha PSS-270 eBay demonstration

posted for eBay auction Apologies for the lack of creative musicianship and the pajamas. This video demonstrates most of the 100 voices of the Yamaha PSS-270 keyboard. The PSS-270 generates its sound using a synthesis technique called Frequency Modulation or FM. Yamaha made many 2 operator FM keyboards but this one was special. For each of its 100 voices, two distinct 2 operator patches were layered together, adding complexity and richness to each of the voices, unlike earlier keyboards which simply played one 2op patch at a time. This model did not feature MIDI nor did it have programming capabilities, but it did have 4 useful buttons; sustain, vibrato, portamento and Stereo Symphonic.
