2020 Audi Q3 DIY oil change

If you are first-time oil changer, this will be a good video to watch. Changing oil is a great way to save money and ensure maintenance on your vehicle is done 100% correctly. Even though the car was not telling me it needed an oil change, I went ahead and did it anyway at ~5000 miles. This Q3 is my first Audi and I&never owned a VW (except a 1970s VW rabbit), but many of these newer cars use a new plastic oil drain plug instead of a traditional machined steel screw and metal (aluminum or copper) crush washer. Use recommended oil 0W20 that meets VW 508 spec. The manual suggests Castrol Edge Professional. Links:
