Uke-ful Fun
Introducing the newly reissued Marshall Shredmaster Distortion! Originally released in the early &the Shredmaster was Marshall&first high-gain pedal. Not exactly an amp in-the-box like their Bluesbreaker, Guv&or Drivemaster pedals, the Shredmaster is maybe better described as "amp-in-a-box with a boost hitting the front of it." If you&thinking of a JCM800 or JCM900 being pushed to to the edge, you&on the right track. Designed with metal players in mind, the Shredmaster isn&just higher gain, it also offers the compression you need to sit your guitar in the mix. For tone tweaking, the Shredmaster offers five knobs to dial in your sound: Gain, Bass, Contour, Treble and Volume. The Contour knob changes the character of your mids, while also enhancing the treble and bass frequencies. Built like a tank, the Shredmaster is the perfect addition to your pedalboard for high-octane distortion. In this demo, Guitar Center&Steve Lynch alternates between a Gibson Les Paul Standard and a PRS SE Silver Sky into the Marshall Shredmaster pedal, into a Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker combo amp.
