This new gearing upgrade allows for faster fastener removal but decreases the torque of the ratchet. No worries though, you can use this ratchet manually to break the fastener loose and then take advantage of the higher speed removal. This new system allows for a much more compact head size and a recessed direction knob. This is a significant upgrade for getting into tight places. We look forward to extended versions of these!
