This video will help you save money and clear numerous codes on Mazda CX-5, CX-3, 6, 3 and other models with the 2,2 liter diesel. Codes p0471, p0473, p2262, p2263 among others. UPDATE 3-2022: You might or might not have to clear ABS/SCBS related codes that record from this incident after fixing this. PLEASE BE SURE TO DO THIS. UPDATE 3-2023: I have had trouble free driving, but some main points on this 2,2 l diesel engine: 1) DPF Sensor issues 2) Small turbo flap issues 3) Injectors might let by-pass at some point, so removal, cleaning and new O-Rings recommended. NOTE: Oil change and engine flush to be done with this injector service. 4) Please use engine oil designed for DPF equipped diesel engines 5) Monitor your oil level, as diesel might be pushed into oil with clogged DPF. 6) DO NOT USE green coolant! Use Mazda specified engine coolant. Seems like a lot, but it is not. These codes appear in bunches when these sensors go bad. The combination of engine check light, SCBS and TPMS will almost cripple the car, especially with an auto transmission. Easy fix and not very expensive. This car is an 2014, check differences for other years. The latest 3rd Gen exhaust pressure sensor has been good per local dealer with no issues. As always: -Disconnect battery first -Clean around and check connectors -You can also check lambda towards the left of back of the engine as well. -In worst cases, de-carbonization might be required.
