I recently ran a poll on my page for the i5-13600K and what kind of build I should use for the initial videos. Out of 122 votes so far, 59% of voters have indicated they would like to see the 13600K in a "best bang for the buck" 1440 build, so here it is. For a long time, the RTX 3080 has been considered the best GPU in terms of value because it provides the most performance per dollar in comparison to cards in other tiers. Going along with that train of thought, this is the "best bang for the buck" build in my opinion. I was really surprised and pleased by the performance. Nice job with this one Intel. Setup and configuration details below. Enjoy. To me, this is the sweet spot build with the 13600K for 1440 right now. I&listed the minimum prices for the parts I found online. - CPU: Intel i5-13600K ($299) - MOBO: Z790 DDR5 ($200) - RAM: DDR5-6000 CL36 ($200) - GPU: RX 6900XT ($550) - TOTAL FOR MOBO+:CPU+RAM+GPU: $1250 I&using an ASUS ROG Maximus Hero, but you can find a Z790 for about $200. I&using Teamgroup T-Force Delta RGB 7200MHz CL34, but have manually clocked them down. 6000 CL36 can be found for relatively decent prices (for DD5). DDR5 still has early adopter tax. I&also using a 6950XT because I don&have a 6900XT, but if I were building right now, I&go for the 6900XT. It is generally found $100-150 cheaper and usually performs within ~10% of the 6950XT. I&seen some 6900XT sold on ebay for less than $550. That is a steal in my opinion, insanely great price for...
