A basic comparison of all the Submission Audio Bass libraries released up to this point (April 2022). Each library is demonstrated with the following examples: - Drop G riff (built-in amp tone) - Drop E riff (built-in amp tone) - Slap riff (built-in amp tone) * if the library supports slapping - Drop G riff (NeuralDSP Parallax tone) - Drop E riff (NeuralDSP Parallax tone) - Slap riff (NeuralDSP Parallax tone) * if the library supports slapping - Drop G riff (DI tone) - Range demonstration (DI tone) Libraries used: - Submission Audio EuroBass II - Submission Audio PunkBass - Submission Audio DjinnBass - Submission Audio GroveBass - Submission Audio UmanskyBass Built-in amp tone: This means that I&using the library&built-in amp tone (overdrive or dist preset). There&no further processing done, except for the master bus. NeuralDSP Parallax tone: This means that the library is set to the DI tone. That DI tone is then going through the NeuralDSP Parallax plugin set to default settings. There&no further processing done, except for the master bus. DI tone: This means that the library is set to the DI tone. There&no further processing done, except for the master bus. Notes: - PunkBass only goes down to B, that&why its riff is transposed higher than the others.
