Amaryllis in the Garden vs Pots

I&been growing Amaryllis bulbs for 14 years and they have grown and multiplied many times over. I wanted to show you just how lovely they can grow in the ground if you have the right climate. I live in Windermere, Florida zone 9b and mine come back and bloom each March through May. The Bulbs I planted in pots all bloom in March and early April. The In-ground bulbs grow and bloom slower and the blooms seem to stay at their peak longer. After a few years I do dig them up and separate the small baby Bulbs from the main bulb. I plant the smaller ones and the process begins again. Happy Spring ???
