This live electronic music performance was created to experiment with my new room setup, as well as combining a few of the fancy analog synths in my studio to create something that sounds cinematic for a film. I&using the Buchla Easel Command 208c, the Moog Grandmother, the ARP-2600, the DFAM, and my bass guitar to create something ambient and maybe a little romantic and longing sounding. Patch Notes: Buchla and bass guitar to Make Noise Erbeverb, to 4ms Tapographic Delay, to X-Pan (controlled by Intellijel Quadrax), to Boss RC-5 looper pedal, to Eventide H9. Arp-2600: I&using all three oscillators, and the keyboard LFO is driving the main clock for the whole system. All 3 oscillators are in unison, and the pulse width modulation is patched to oscillator 2 from the sample and hold circuit. Grandmother: Bass sawtooth sound with slow attack and decay, and I&using the arpeggiator to slowly move through notes at a 4:1 ratio from the Arp-2600 Buchla: Bass to low pass gate 2 Random voltage to timbre and modulation Sequential voltage to pitch of complex oscillator Envelope to low pass gate 1 and waveshape
