UPGRADE HP ProBook 4530s from i3 to i7

I upgraded my HP Probook 4530s from an Intel Core i3 to a Core i7 (i7 2670QM @ 2.20GHz). This is a Sandy Bridge, 2nd generation CPU, and before you ask in the comments, it is not possible to go any farther than that. I did this because my son wants to stream live from our PS4 and I would like to capture from my iMac G3 using my El Gato Game Capture HD in OBS Studio. For streaming you need a quad core i7 that runs at 2.0 GHz before the turbo kicks in. This does just that. This was a worthy upgrade, although it took me a total of several hours over several days. You must tear a ProBook down to the logic board; basically, take it completely apart before you can upgrade. It cost me all of $100 US. The processor was about $40 and the SSD about $50. Whole, working i7 4530s models go for upwards of $180 on eBay. They are good computers, and are desirable as Hackintoshes, As far as things in the video go, I got the Silicon Power SSD on Amazon here: ProduKey will allow you to extract your Windows product key. Good to know if you made a purchase or make a radical change to your setup: I got the Winaero WEI tools app to benchmark. It is a synthetic benchmark, based on the tool in Windows Vista and 7: For system info, most people like CPU-Z, but I prefer Speccy, made by the same folks as CCleaner: I made this using my Sanyo Xacti FDH-1 and Cyberlink PowerDirector 11.
