VW / Audi / Skoda / Seat - 2.0 TDi BKD - P0401 EGR Fault + G201 (01435) ABS Pump Replacement PART 1

After failing it&MOT on the ABS / ESP warning lamp I decided to get access to the ABS pump to check the part number, and also remove the EGR valve (which includes removal of the anti-shudder valve) to see if I could fix the P0401 &Insufficient flow&error. I have ordered a 2nd hand pump from eBay, and hope to have that fitted later in the week so I can take it for a retest to fix the 01435 / G201 fault code + ESP light always on. This was carried out on a 2006 VW Jetta (Golf Mk5 / V) 2.0 TDi, but it will be a similar procedure on other 2.0 TDi PD cars from mid-2000s to around 2010 including the Audi A3, TT, VW Golf, Jetta, Beetle, Passat, Seat Leon, Toledo, Skoda Octavia and Yeti.
