Flying A Diamond DA-40 NG From Zurich Into The Alps

We were invited by Remo from MFGZ to experience the Swiss Alps like no other. Together with instructor Martin we took off from Zurich International airport in a Diamond DA40NG. After climbing to 12500ft we saw the Eiger, Jungfraujoch and the Schilthorn from the sky and landed in Gstaad/Saanen airport for a short stop. On the way back we met up with Remo in the air, who was flying the Cessna 172 to do some close formation flying before returning to Zurich. I cannot wait to do more mountain flying!
