This HowTo video shows you to create, open and close a pop-up screen in TIA Portal. TIA Portal is a programming environment from Siemens and specially developed for programming the S7-1200/1500 PLC and the new HMI panels. In TIA Portal it is possible to program in different languages, such as Ladder diagram (LAD), function block diagram (FBD), Statement List (STL), Graph and Structured Control Language (SCL). In a series of short tutorials, MA-IT MyAutomation would like to help you get familiar with TIA Portal. ----- Transcription --------------------------------------------------- This video will explain how to create, open and close a pop-up screen. A new pop up screen can be made in the folder pop up screens. A beginning for a pop up screen is already made in this example. The size can be changed in the properties tab. This pop up screen has a width of 300 and a height of 350. An X will be used to close the pop up screen. Add a textfield and make the text X. Drag it to the top right. Next, add a button. Make the button invisible via the properties tab. Drag the invisable button over the X textfield. Add the ShowPopupScreen as an event to the button. Assign the correct pop up screen. Choose off as display mode. Open a screen where the pop up needs to be opened. Add a button to the screen, this will make the pop up screen appear. Add the ShowPopupScreen as an event to the button.
