A playthrough of Nintendo&1990 puzzle game for the Nintendo Game Boy, Dr. Mario. In this video I play through level twenty on the high speed setting. The ending (yes, there is an ending!) is shown. I already spoke quite a bit about Dr. Mario with my playthrough of the NES version, and since the Game Boy version is virtually identical to its console counterpart, I don&have too much more to say about it. You can find a link to the NES video below if you&interested. This version of Dr. Mario was the one I was most familiar with as a kid. I got it for Christmas with my Game Boy, and I got years and years worth of play out of it. I still have that same game cart, now thirty-one years later. The Game Boy version supports head-to-head play via the link cable, and the cutscenes are different from the ones in the NES version, making for a nice bit of bonus appeal. The music sounds great on the Game Boy (I prefer this one&music over the NES&and the graphics are super-sharp and easy to make out on the small screen. I remember reading reviews that complained that the monochrome display made it difficult to tell the viruses apart, and that was news to me. I thought the pieces were more than distinct enough to be able to tell apart at a quick glance. Dr. Mario is great. Playing this version of it makes me feel like I&eight years old all over again, and still yet I find it as fun to play now as I did as a kid.
