Tannoy Reveal 402 4" 50W Active Studio Monitor - Self Noise Demo

Read and watched many positive reviews about these little speakers. A few people complained about some hiss and other noise, but I just assumed they had bad/cheap sound cards or where getting external interference from their installation. I was very excited when they finally arrived. My excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I first fired them up. The two speakers I received sizzled and hummed terribly. Throw on some headphones and have a listen. So many YouTube reviews have the "click the link below" syndrome used to drive affiliate sales, so negative reviews are hard to come by. Well, since I made this negative review - I am happy to report that I did buy replacement speakers that are working for me very well.
