James Last - The House Of The Rising Sun (1970)

James Last performs his dramatic full orchestral arrangement of the traditional American folk song The House Of The Rising Sun, which is best known for its hit cover version by The Animals, but was also done by many other performers such as Bob Dylan and Dave Van Ronk. Last himself recorded the song several times throughout his career in different styles and arrangements. This is his best known version, taken from the 1970 album With Compliments, considered to be arguably the best and most popular album that he ever recorded. Helmuth Franke is featured on lead guitar.
