Sony WH-XB900N Battery Replacement (How to fix charging problems)

In this video we explain how to replace the battery on the Sony WH-XB900N wireless Bluetooth Headphones in simple to follow step-by-step instructions. The process is relatively simple and only requires a small Phillips screwdriver and a small prying tool in order to complete this repair. You may consider this repair when the battery on your Sony headphones does not last very long anymore or in case the battery does not charge at all. First step is to remove the ear pad on the right ear cup. Then remove the five screws on the ear cup. Make sure not to drop the screws into the center of the driver. The magnet inside of the driver will make it difficult to remove them. When removing the driver, consider the cable, which connects the driver with the ear cup. Make sure not to accidentally tear it off. Remove the screws on the small PCB and on the black battery cover. Remove the cover, pry the original battery out and replace it with the replacement battery. Now reassemble everything. Reconnecting the thin ribbon cable can be a challenge. Make sure to first flipping up the small lever. Now reassemble everything in reverse order.
