Brazilian and U.S. scientists discovered the Brazilian white bellbird’s "extremely loud" mating call peaks at about 125.4 decibels, which is louder than a rock concert and chainsaw. A bird found in the Amazon has shattered the record for the loudest call, reaching the same volume as a pneumatic drill.
