1/18 Mercedes Benz SSK Count Trossi by CMC

The SSK was the very last Mercedes Benz model developed by Ferdinand Porshce before he left Damiler Benz company in 1929. A 7 litre engined Mercedes Benz SSK back then was powerful - very, very powerful. So much so that it propelled Mercedes Benz in to many wins across various races. About 30 such SSKs were produced, less than 10 are known to exist. A prominent racing enthusiast, Count of Trossi of Italy managed to get one unfinished chassis in year 1932. He got into fitting the chassis with a custom body work, done by the British coach builder Willie White. The streamlined, low riding SSK soon became well known in the automotive circle as Count Trossi&SSK, and famously dubbed "The Black Prince". As i get a chance to unbox my latest acquisition, sharing the 1932 Mercedes Benz SSK of Count Trossi as replicated in 1/18 scale, this time in diecast by CMC. The same model has been done in Resin in 1/18 scale by KK Scale.
