BMW E34 oil reset 520i

This is: how to reset oil service and inspection on BMW E34 520i (1992) without any special or expensive tool. 1. Remove diagnostic cap 2. Turn ignition switch to position "2" 3. Insert jumper wire in pins 7 and 19 4. Wait for 10 seconds for service reset 5. Remove jumper wire and put the diagnostic cover back on 6.
