Mooer Blue Faze

Demo of the Mooer Blue Faze fuzz pedal. It&a Silicon Fuzz Face (see what they did there??!) style pedal. It does the Fuzz Face thing well enough, with some interesting inter-modulation sounds even at lower gain, but gets most interesting when the fuzz (gain) knob is practically dimed - at which point you have far more control of the sound via your guitar&volume and tone knobs anyway so happy times! It¬ the most refined sounding pedal, and the taper of the fuzz knob could be better (more usable range - most of the movement happens in the upper 1/5th of the knob) but you can pick these up new for under £50 so if you want a fuzz face, you could do a lot worse for the money. Gear used: Fender MIM Strat (Seymour Duncan JB Jr in the bridge, Lace Sensor Blue in the neck, Middle is stock) into the Blue Faze into a Laney VC30 2x12, mic&with a SE Electronics R1.
