This is the 2nd video in a series of repairing crash damage on a BMW G310R motorcycle. It&a step-by-step DIY explanation of how to replace a damaged brake lever on a BMW G310R motorcycle. I dropped this motorcycle and scratched up the crash bars, bar ends, and brake lever. The brake lever got scratched up from the fall, so I decided to replace it with the shorty adjustable brake lever version made by Puig. The installation was simple, and the same steps can be followed on most other motorcycles. First, I removed the damaged brake lever. In the next step I installed the Puig brake lever mount (aka adapter), which is a specific fit for the BMW G310R motorcycle. Once the brake lever mount was installed, I installed the adjustable brake lever. Overall, this was an easy installation that took less than a half hour. Similar instructions apply to many other BMW motorrad models as well as other motorcycle brands like Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc. 0:00 – Intro 1:04 – What You’ll Need 1:40 – Remove the Original Brake Lever 2:36 – Install Adapter (Mount) 4:54 – Install Brake Lever 7:07 – How to Adjust the Brake Lever 7:34 – How to Align the Height of the Brake Lever 8:43 - Wrapup #bmwmotorcycle
