First Flush Of Phoenix Oyster Mushrooms On Oak Logs

My first flush of oyster mushrooms on my mushroom logs! I had some trees cut down at my house at the beginning of the year, and I saved the logs and innoculated them in March and April with mushroom plug spawn. I innoculated with the following species: Phoenix Oysters Pearl Oysters Golden Oysters Warm Blue Oysters It looks like the phoenix are the first to flush, which is not a surprise since they tend to flush at warmer temperatures than the other varieties. I&hoping that over the winter when we get some colder temperatures we&be getting even more mushroom production!
