Picoscope and USB Autoscope cylinder compression tests

We connect the spark plug wire for cylinder to our spark tester using an adapter. Instead of the spark plug, we install the px35 pressure transducer using the M14 deep well adapter to the cylinder. The signal from the pressure transducer is connected to the USB Autoscope and the PICO scope at the same time. We start recodring on both oscilloscopes, then start the engine. We perform the first slow throttle opening up to 3000 rpm.The throttle is allowed to return to idle and after a few seconds we perform a snap throttle movement up to about 3000-4000 rpm. Then we stop the engine. Then we compare and analyze the waveforms from both oscilloscopes. Browse this list of interesting articles:
