Waterloo Played On A Casio CT-X5000 Keyboard Waterloo was the winning entry for Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest on the 6th April 1974. This winning song for Abba was the start of their worldwide fame. The song was re-released in 2004 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Abba&win and on the 22nd October 2005 at the 50th anniversary celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest, Waterloo was chosen as the best song in the competition&history. Waterloo is also featured in the musical Mamma Mia.
