_OTOMACHI_ The last edition of the SUV was 178 inches long. It is the size of the compact crossover. The new Terra is 192 inches long. That is more likely where we see the 2024 Nissan Xterra. The new Pathfinder is larger than before, and the difference between this SUV and the full-size Armada is just 10 inches. The Xterra can fit between those two, but we believe designers will make it a bit smaller. Besides the name, the size can be similar to Terra, with a body length of around 190 in. Again, we can compare the new 2024 Nissan Xterra to the previous version and existing configurations. But, the automotive industry is moving towards complete electrification, so it won’t be a surprise to see this SUV with a hybrid setup. But, let’s check classic configurations first. The last Xterra was out while diesel engines were still pretty popular. Although pretty small, the SUV didn’t use an oil burner, but a big 4.0-liter petrol engine. Nevertheless, that one is not in use anymore. Also, the market changed a lot in the past few years, so we can say that a kind of turbo plant will probably be the main solution. Toyota is widely reported to be developing an all-new Fortuner and is expected to make its global debut early next year before going on sale in foreign markets. Considering its popularity in India, the full-size SUV could make its way locally in the near future – predictably towards the end of 2023 or early 2024.
