Glenn Miller & His Orchestra play "Beer Barrel Polka" by Jaromír Vejvoda as an instrumental jive number. The track is taken from a recently purchased UK-RCA-LP, "Glenn Miller On The Air", Vol. 3, RD-7612 (LPM-2767), the Mono-edition. The liners by George T. Simon to the track: "This melody started out in Berlin but during World War II was much more popular in Britain and the US than in its homeland (which was former Czechoslovakia, not Germany!).
