xbox 360 grinding noise laser hitting disc fixed(HOW TO) not the magnet

I had the open tray error with the magnet off, but fixed it. After I fixed it, the laser kept hitting the disc. This is how I fixed it. It would play movies, but not games. I just needed a spacer in between the disc and the rubber ring under the magnet. I am assuming it is because of the extra space from glueing the magnet in. Hope it helps.
