Behold! The cloudy, wispy, nebulous, haunting, mysterious, rainbow-vision-inducing sounds of the Transmisser, an epic ambient reverb effect from EarthQuaker Devices that turns whatever instrument you put through it into a lush, malleable synth pad. In this case, Brian Donohoe is using his tenor saxophone to make some soundscapes over pretty chords. The EarthQuaker Space Spiral delay pedal is offering some gooey echoey goodness, too, but most of the epic synth-paddy texture and modulation you hear is coming from the Transmisser. It&intensely fun. You can hear both of these pedals quite a bit on "Dystopia," the new Progger album, available as of 3/9/18 on Ropeadope Records. We love this pedal. It&insanely fun and makes for some really beautiful atmosphere. Check the album out here: Holler at EarthQuaker Devices if you want the gnarly, quirky, awesome sounds in your life.
